This Appraisal Studies Course from the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) is for continuing education only and does not contain certification exams that lead to becoming a Certified Member or Certified Master Appraiser of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. This course gives you the essentials necessary to become a competent and professional jewelry appraiser.  The early lessons lay the foundation of the rules and practices that govern this profession, as well as best practices for report writing. Later lessons discuss specific types of jewelry and how to appraise them, jewelry history, and how to establish a successful appraisal business.
